ITI Decision Trees and Checklists
The ITI decision trees were developed to assist clinicians as a guide in managing decision-making for various clinical procedures. The ITI Checklists are meant as an overview of factors to consider when preparing treatment plans.
In addition, and in accordance with the ITI philosophy, it is assumed that the preparation and implementation of treatment plans follow a patient-centered approach including risk assessment using the ITI SAC Classification and that clinicians will have undergone appropriate training and be practicing within the bounds of their clinical competence and abilities.
