Implant Placement and Loading Protocols in Partially Edentulous Patients: Proceedings of the 6th ITI Consensus Conference

Adam Hamilton

This is a recording of Adam Hamilton's Webinar on ITI Academy live. Implant placement and loading protocols have been extensively researched and reviewed in an effort to determine the most efficient and predictable pathway for implant therapy following tooth extraction. It is imperative to understand the relationship between the two. This lecture will discuss the evolution of implant placement and loading protocols and will review a new classification that redefines the concepts of implant placement and loading protocols and recognizes that the two processes are co-dependent variables of each other. The classification will be presented within a clinical and evidence-based approach, with a focus on the findings of the 6th ITI Consensus Conference.

At the end of this webinar you should be able to…

  • discuss the new classification and paradigm for implant placement and loading protocols

  • describe the various implant placement and loading protocols for partially edentulous patients

  • discuss the supporting evidence behind them
