Zygomatic implants have been in regular use for several decades, however, there has been little consensus in regard to the related indications, techniques and long-term outcomes. On March 24, 2023, the ITI held the first ever Consensus Workshop on Zygomatic Implants in order to look at and evaluate the current literature towards reaching a consensus and providing evidence-based recommendations for the safe use of zygomatic implants.
The resulting Consensus paper as well as the four review papers were published in the International Journal of Implant Dentistry and can be downloaded below.
