RESTORATION SELECTION

This is the second of 2 presentations which will look at the relationship between implant selection and restoration and abutment choice.

In order to satisfy treatment goals of a durable, aesthetic and serviceable restoration decisions are made well before an implant is placed. Anthony will explain the critical role of restorative planning and the implications for implant selection in achieving an optimal outcome.

DR ANTHONY DICKINSON

Dr Anthony Dickinson is a practicing Prosthodontist from Melbourne where his clinical emphasis is interdisciplinary management and implant dentistry. 

Anthony completed his BDSc (Melb) in 1978 and his postgraduate studies in Prosthodontics at Indiana University (USA) in 1985. Anthony is a Senior ITI Fellow and has held positions on the Board of Directors of the ITI and on the (former)Dental Practice Board of Victoria and the Dental Board of Victoria, including 6 years as President. He is currently a Senior Editor for the ITI Academy and an Honorary Clinical Fellow at the University of Melbourne Dental School. 

He draws on a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for relevant education to bring an entertaining and informative presentation with a strong practical application.
