Structured Assessment and Treatment Planning
Replacing multiple missing teeth in the esthetic one is considered a complex treatment. Clinicians need to be well aware of potential pitfalls on the road to successful treatment outcomes, notably in the presence of advanced or complex indications for implant treatment, one example being indications with missing adjacent teeth in the anterior maxilla.
By identifying the risks and addressing them appropriately during the diagnostic and treatment planning phase, numerous esthetic short- or longterm complications may be avoided. It is considerably easier to prevent complications than to treat them.
