THE DARK SIDE of DENTAL IMPLANTS: disease and complication management

It is our pleasure to have Dr. Lorenzo Mordini, DDS, M.S.(Assistant Professor, Department of Periodontology Tufts University School of Dental Medicine), lecture to us for the last study club meeting of the year. Peri-implant disease is a growing burden of the exponential implant diffusion in dentistry. The goal of this lecture is to give an insight on implants diseases, on how to diagnose them and when to refer them to a specialist. The learning objectives will be: 1. Diagnose peri-implant diseases 2. Recognize and control etiologic and contributing factors 3. Understand rationale of treatment 4. Treat, refer or extract? Dinner and beverages with be served.
